Our Story

First Baptist Church Groveland has a rich history of faithfully serving God’s Kingdom for over 100 years. Rooted in God’s Word and committed to making disciples, FBC Groveland has continually sought to reach the Groveland and South Lake community with the gospel. Through seasons of growth and change, our heart has remained the same — to love God, love others, and live on mission as we carry forward the work God has been doing here for generations.

First Baptist Church Groveland is a Christ-centered church where people grow in faith, connect in community, and serve on mission. We teach God’s Word, make disciples, and love our neighbors — locally and globally, following Jesus’ call in Matthew 28:19–20: “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them… and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” No matter where you are in your journey, you’re welcome here.
