Our Vision for Missions
At First Baptist Church Groveland, our vision for missions is to see the gospel transform lives, from our community to the ends of the earth.
We believe every believer is sent. Our Acts 1:8 and Missions ministry is not just a program, it is our identity. We are committed to equipping and mobilizing our church to live on mission daily, sharing Christ in our neighborhoods, workplaces, and relationships.
We will intentionally invest in:
Local outreach that meets needs and opens doors for the gospel in our community
National partnerships that strengthen churches and expand gospel influence
Global missions that take the message of Jesus to unreached and underserved people
Our goal is not just to send missionaries, but to be a sending church—raising up disciples who go, serve, and multiply the mission of Christ wherever God calls them.

Tim Hancock

LAKE & SUMTER COUNTY FCA

Tim serves in South Lake and Sumter County schools, investing in the lives of coaches and student-athletes. Through encouragement, mentorship, and spiritual outreach, he shares the hope of Christ where students live and compete each day.

Rachel & Hooman

ATHENS, GREECE

This team serves in Athens, Greece, bringing hope to refugees and immigrants through compassionate care and the message of Jesus. They meet both practical and spiritual needs as they live out the love of Christ among those seeking refuge and a new beginning.

The Mission Haiti

HAITI

The Mission Haiti serves children by providing access to Christian education and essential care. Through scholarships, books, uniforms, and meals, they invest in both the spiritual and future well-being of the next generation.

Andy & Stephanie Pace

LIMA, PERU

Andy and Stephanie serve in Lima, Peru, supporting local churches through discipleship and leadership development. Their work helps churches grow strong in faith and effective in reaching their communities for Christ.

Shawn & Amy Sullivan

UKRAINE

Shawn and Amy serve in Ukraine through humanitarian and gospel-centered ministry. They provide material, emotional, and spiritual support to individuals and families affected by the realities of war.

Lew & Brandi Johnson

NAIROBI, KENYA

Lew and Brandi serve in Nairobi, Kenya, equipping pastors and church leaders in rural communities. They also teach at Africa International University, helping strengthen the church through biblical training and discipleship.

Love Groveland

GROVELAND, FLORIDA

Love Groveland exists to serve our community with compassion and purpose. Through acts of service, outreach, and partnership, Love Groveland provides nutritious food and vital resources In Groveland and South Lake County, Florida.
