Why we give.
At First Baptist Church Groveland, we believe giving is an act of worship and a declaration of trust in God as our provider. Everything we have comes from Him, and through giving, we joyfully return a portion to be used for His purposes.
Your generosity fuels the mission of our church—to help people know Jesus, grow in their faith, and build strong, Christ-centered families. Every gift makes a real, local impact. It helps create environments where children learn about Jesus, students find identity and purpose, and adults are strengthened through worship, biblical teaching, and life-giving community.
Because we gather in the heart of our community, your giving directly supports outreach, discipleship, and ministry that meets people where they are. It allows us to invest in the next generation, care for families, and share the hope of the Gospel with those who need it most.

As Scripture reminds us:
“But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able thus to offer willingly? For all things come from you, and of your own have we given you.” — 1 Chronicles 29:14 (ESV)
