Worship & Youth Pastor
First Baptist Church Groveland is seeking a Worship & Youth Pastor to lead our congregation in Christ-exalting worship and invest in the next generation through gospel-centered student ministry. We are a growing, multi-generational church committed to biblical authority, discipleship, and raising up leaders who live boldly for Christ.
This dual-role position is for a shepherd-leader who is passionate about leading authentic, theologically rich worship and discipling students through the truth of God’s Word. We believe worship is proclamation, not performance, and youth ministry is transformation, not entertainment.

Responsibilities:
Worship Ministry:
- Plan and lead Sunday worship services in collaboration with the Senior Pastor
- Select biblically sound songs that align with sermon themes
- Lead vocally and instrumentally (guitar or piano preferred)
- Recruit, develop, and disciple worship team members
- Lead rehearsals and oversee worship/AVL systems

Youth Ministry:
- Lead and develop a thriving middle & high school student ministry
- Preach and teach gospel-centered, biblically sound messages
- Disciple students and equip parents as primary spiritual leaders
- Recruit and lead adult volunteers
- Plan events, outreach, and leadership development opportunities

Qualifications:
- Clear calling to ministry and strong Christian character (1 Timothy 3; Titus 1)
- Agreement with Baptist doctrine and church beliefs
- Experience in worship leadership and/or youth ministry
- Strong musical ability (vocals + instrument)
- Ability to teach Scripture effectively
- Relational, team-oriented, and self-motivated

Expectations
- Lead Sunday worship and weekly youth gatherings
- Participate in staff meetings and church-wide ministry
- Invest in discipleship and leadership development
