The C's of Christ "Commitment"
Not My Will | Luke 22:39–46
What does true commitment look like?
In the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus faced the greatest test of obedience the world has ever known. As He prayed, "Not My will, but Yours be done," Christ demonstrated that true commitment is not measured by comfort, convenience, or emotion, it is revealed through surrender to the Father's will.
In this message from The C's of Christ, we'll discover how Jesus' unwavering commitment secured our salvation and how His example empowers us to remain faithful when following Him becomes difficult. Before there was a cross, there was a garden. Before there was victory, there was surrender.
Join us as we learn that our hope is not found in the strength of our commitment to Christ, but in the perfection of His commitment to us.
Jesus remained faithful to the Father's will so that we could be reconciled to God and through His Spirit, He now empowers us to faithfully follow Him.
